Early work: Small self portrait

This is a rather small self portrait which I did when I lived in Boston . I was living in a studio on Charles St. with a large fireplace which alas did not work but can be seen in the background. You can see the Giacometti influence clearly, I think.

This painting was bought by a German doctor friend of mine whom I have lost touch with. I believe that he currently resides either in Germany or the UK.
