My Strengthsfinder profile

Gallup's Strengthsfinder

This tool was based on the analysis of interviews onducted by Gallup of over 1.7 million employees from 101 companies and representing 63 countries. The study was published in book format under the title "Now, Discover Your Strengths".

The main conclusion proposed here is that management should focus on the strengths of its people, and should engage in mere damage control with regard to their areas of 'weakness' (not development). It also provides an online self assesment tool for people to identify their top 5 strength 'themes' or talents out of a total of 34 possible such 'themes'. These 'themes'/strength areas were put together through a statistical analysis of responses they got from the 1.7 million interviews.
